林書豪抗疫募款1個月破2900萬 「嗨跳沙發」推第二階段捐款活動

林書豪坦承站在亞裔美國人立場，呼籲團結、捐款卻被討厭，內心很受傷，但他仍堅持幫助他人。他發起的抗疫募款活動「BeTheLight」，短短1個月就募集97萬8330美金(約台幣2922萬)，即將達到100萬美金的目標，他開心感謝所有參與其中的豪粉，並推出第二階段的募款活動，再與另外3個非營利組織合作。

林書豪上個月13日透過個人基金會發起募款，先捐出50萬美金，並承諾大眾捐多少，他就捐多少，最高會捐出「等額」的50萬美金。活動捐贈對象是兩個非營利組織，一個是設有超過200間糧食銀行的「Feeding America」；另一個是募集必要醫療資源的「Direct Relief」。

短短一個月內，湧入了97萬8330美金的善款，即將達到100萬美金的目標，這讓林書豪又驚又喜，他自拍影片「從鏡頭外跳上沙發」，感謝所有參與其中的豪粉，「我真的很震驚，有這麼多人參與『BeTheLight』的活動！在這種艱難時刻，知道有很多人願意幫助自己的鄰居，是一件鼓舞人心的事，我希望這件事也能鼓勵你們。」

「打從心底感謝你們每一個人，請記得你們正在改變世界，成為黑暗中的一盞明燈。」林書豪也透露，他將展開第二階段的募款活動，與3個社區慈善組織合作，包括「MobilizeLove」、「LoveBeyondWalls」和「Center for Family Life」。

林書豪說，「在這段時間支持直接服務的非營利組織非常重要，因為他們通常知道社區還有與他們合作的人的需求。」

I am genuinely in shock at how many people have been involved in our campaign so far! In these hard times just knowing how many people want to help out their neighbors is a huge encouragement, and I hope it encourages you all as well.
